CANDICE DAVIS is a conceptual artist from San Antonio, Texas and working in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Through primarily digital media, installation, and performance, Candice's work focuses on engaging audiences with social issues. She prioritizes the use of art as a dialogic and individually accessible means of distributing social and political ideology. Many of Candice's pieces examine the identity struggles of marginalized groups, with specific emphasis on her experience as a Black woman in the United States of America. Much of her practice is reliant on research and examination of the past as a framework for critiquing the present.
