This interactive project questions viewership and control. A digital mammy, viewable on a website, is controllable by web users unless her physical counterpart has been moved in real time. When the "real" mammy figure is lifted web users can no longer control her with a cursor. Do we always realize who is in control of the stereotypes and caricatures we consume via screen?
Audience interaction with CTRL
Website screen recording. The figure is under the control of the website user unless her physical form is lifted. The website user may think they are in control of the object but their visuality is determined by a force beyond the computer.
